ROMEINADAY.COM will help place the tradesperson, union or non-union, commercial or residential, into construction jobs with top contractors.
You will be stepped through a series of easy to answer questions regarding your skill sets, hours worked, special licensing and certifications related to your specific trade. You will be basically creating a functional resume.
This information, at no cost to you, will be compiled and presented to the contractors through an online national database with special reporting features. The contractor will see a confidential summary of your information based on trade, contractor type and construction site location. Once selected by the contractor, you will receive an e-mail or text message from us. You can review the job description and contractor information and decide whether to release your contact information and employment history to the hiring contractor. If you release the information, the contractor then has the ability to contact you about the job.
Once hired by the contractor, you can login to ROMEINADAY.COM and turn off your profile. You will then drop off the tradesperson available for work report. Upon completion of the job, you can login and update your skill set hours and any other information that needs updating. At this time, you can turn your profile back on. This will give the contractors in your area the ability to see you again on the available for work report.
Supervisory and Administrative Personnel
ROMEINADAY.COM provides a selection of over fifty construction middle management positions to attach your resume to. We will compile and provide a brief confidential summary of your qualifications, years of experience, and the different contractor types you were employed by, to the participating contractors. After the contractor reviews your summary, they can choose to contact you for access to your entire resume. You will then receive an e-mail from us giving you information on the contractor, a brief description of the available job, location and the start date. If interested, you will then be able to release your resume for further review. The contractor will contact you directly about scheduling the initial interview.
Supervisory and administrative personnel will also be able to view contractor posted jobs by position, city, state and zip. If interested in the position, you can click on the job I.D. number for a more detailed job description. If you like what you see, you can hit the apply button, and your resume will be released to the contractor for consideration.

On the supervisory and administrative end, we have over fifty pre-selected construction middle management positions that a job seeker can attach his resume to. When you need to fill a position you conduct a search by position. This will give you a list of available job seekers in your area with a brief description of their qualifications and experiences. You can then select from the list of available personnel. The system will send the job seeker an e-mail, at which time they can choose to release their resume, and you can schedule an interview.
Job posting is another important feature of our system. You can post a job by choosing from our list of positions or you can enter your own. All member supervisory and administrative personnel in your state seeking the desired position will see the posting of your job through their job posting tab. Other job seekers from other areas can also see your posting when they conduct a job search by state or the job falls within the travel range of their profile.
Coming Soon — Online Safety Training
A structured safety program can add thousands of dollars to the bottom line.
We are creating a library of learning objects that can be utilized for web-based training. All content is developed as reusable learning objects (RLOs) which can be used and reused to create both basic as well as customized health and safety courses. RLOs are created by breaking course content into "chunks" to the point where they represent the smallest unit of instruction and teach a single focused concept. The RLOs can then quickly be "pieced together" in a variety of ways to make customized and/or site specific modules and courses, including a Hazardous Waste Refresher course.
A learning management system (LMS) hosts all content, enabling users to track, monitor, and evaluate student progress and results without having to purchase an expensive LMS. Learning objects utilize Flash technology to engage trainees with virtual, hands-on activities and interactive scenarios with very low bandwidth for quick download time. These scenarios require multiple actions in order to accurately and comprehensively assess critical skills, such as inspection of a respirator or making command decisions during a simulated emergency.
Our learning object library currently contains the following topics:
Respiratory Protection:
- Dust Masks
- Filtering Face Pieces
- Air-Supplying Face Pieces
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- HazMat Regulations
- Confined Space
- First Responders Awareness
- Hazard Recognition
- Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) with Simulation Exercise
- DOT HazMat Transportation Security
- Health Effects
- Decontamination
- Hazard Communication
- Regulatory Agencies
- Chemical Properties
- Back Safety
- Ladder Safety
- Forklift Safety
As we complete new RLOs, they will be added to the current listing. Further information will be coming shortly on how we can help customize your online safety training program.
